Been burning the candle on both ends and making some headway with Good Ink. Been a long road, almost a year now since Good Ink came out of hibernation, with this second series of mens (will be applied to women’s as well) shirts, its getting there. One step at a time.

So I had to do some quick learning and by 2:15 a.m I figured it out and now the site has a flash based slideshow on the homepage. Finally the site has some movement, series 2 should have been released a minute ago but I need it to be perfect. About to take the next step, stay up! (But for now Imma go to sleep!)

Good Ink Clothing will have a 10×10 at the World Of Dance event this Saturday the 29th of August!
This year has been a blur, my hands have tied up in about 20 different things all at once not to mention I have a 9-5 as the Ops manager for the DRIVEN Events who happens to hold the 2009 Licensing for the D1 Grand Prix name which means I’ve been traveling a lot.
And as mentioned previously I managed to sponsor what’s probably the entire country of Japan’s best drifter, Daigo Saito, which had me pumped going into round 3 as we’ve already won the 2 events leading up to Rd.3 in Chicago. Well unfortunately our luck wasn’t as strong as it could have been and poor Daigo lost it in the Elite 8 and had to settle for a still respectable 6th place, but fortunately his baddass’ness leaves him in 1st place with 20 points over the competition for the championship! So as long as he gets at least 10 points (roughly 12th place) in New Jersey we’re golden for a first place finish in the D1GP USA series!
A thing you gotta love about the guy is the absolute friendly, carefree and reckless nature of him and his team. While the rest of the teams were messing around with the cars or packing up to go back to the hotel, Daigo and his crew were busy emptying bottles of Grey Goose with some of the other American drivers, don’t forget that these guys don’t even speak a lick of English! Another reason why he’s a Good Ink driver.
Another up that came out of Chicago was adding driver Forrest Wang to our team. Forrest is an fast up and coming driver who’s now ranked 4th overall. From Rd.1 Forrest came out to battle toe to toe against the Japanese and ended up killing it big time! Finally frustating the Japanese drivers with his gangster skill so much in Rd.3 that Tanaka from Team Orange nearly ran over one of the course workers in anger and Tanaka’s teammate Kumakubo just gave up and declined to battle Forrest.
In other news we’re currently getting ready to move forward with a new member of our skate team, 17 year old Marsel Gareyev from the former U.S.S.R. We’ve seen some huge things from Marsel already and look forward to having him represent the Good Ink name across the west coast. No pressure!
Finally coming on August 29th is the World of Dance Tour competition event where we’ll have a Good Ink booth and will be debuting and selling items from our second season of gear for 2009. Come out and see us at the San Diego Convention Center, we take cash and credit!

Good Ink 2009 Series 2 shirts are finally getting done! Been printing non stop to get ready for the World of Dance Tour in San Diego and I finally have some decent pieces to show for it.
I leave for Chicago in 1 week for Rd.3 of the D1 Grand Prix USA and have a new drift sponsor shirt I want to get done, speaking of which…
…we’ve got 2 new additions to the Good Ink family, current D1 Grand Prix USA professional driver and series points leader Daigo Saito and new pro-am skater Marsel from Russia ( the clothes are on the way dude! I promise ).

Starting now we’re going to start talking to people and clues will be spread and people will be notified and actions will be made and things will be spoken and important people will be spoken to and not so important will be spoken to and the secretest super show sale will be held in a location not so far away as to make it not worth the drive.

Well as promised here is my official delayed blog entry. As I said before, Good Ink will be at the World of Dance Tour this April 4th!
We’ve been busy getting a ton of product printed and look forward to seeing everyone out there supporting us! Some of the shirts being featured at our booth are; No Toy, Good Buddha, Love Ink, Hot Gun and Only Love. We’ll also be selling the XO hats, select hoodies, and scarves.
